There are now over 4,000 games to play in the Arcade

I've purchased some addons for the Article Directory that should improve its' functionality. I shall be gradually installing these, so let me know via the support form if there are any problems. First to be installed is one to fix the activation error on confirming your email address.

Hopefully, all the problems caused by the attempted server upgrade have now been fixed. I've just managed to fix the errors on the front page where this news was displayed.

A recent server software upgrade has caused a problem with adding new sites to the directory. Although sites are being successfully added to the database, they aren't appearing on the web pages. This is being looked into, and will be fixed as soon as possible.

The original contact means was through the forum. Unfortunately, that suffered from an excess of spam, and was locked. Since then, there hasn't been an easy means of contacting support. Now, a new support form has been added here: Support

Simply fill out the form, choosing the most relevant site section your support request applies to, or simply select "Other".

The custom script work for the web directory has now been finished. After testing, the backlog of sites to be reviewed will be dealt with.

There are now full clickable links through the full category path to the details page. This has a number of benefits. Firstly, it's easy to see now what category a site is in. Secondly, when a new site is added and pinged, the categories leading to it will more than likely be spidered at the same time. Finally, the overall internal linking of the directory is improved, as any category with a site in it, or in a category below it, will gain at least one new internal link, and in some cases, hundreds.

Some improvements are currently in the process of being done to site details pages. Approval of new sites will be slow until this is finished.

The site has spent the past few days moving to a new server. This server is much more powerful than the previous one, so hopefully the site will now be a lot faster.

A new section has been added, DirectoryGold MySpace Tweaks

This contains various graphics, layouts and generators, suitable for sites such as MySpace or Yuwie

Whilst there isn't a huge amount of original content available yet, except for the games section, I am currently looking for generators and graphics to add.

Added a list of Affiliate Program Directories to the Webmasters section.
